Giving to ISTAR
YOU can help mend a broken voice.
Since 1986, our donors have been working with us to help people who stutter achieve their dream of speaking with confidence and without fear. We need your support to continue making those dreams come true.
While there is a fee for treatment, ISTAR does not receive public funding and relies heavily on grants and donations. For a relatively small investment, you can help mend a broken voice.
Quite simply, your donation will forever change the life of a person who stutters.
ISTAR is a self-funded institute of the University of Alberta's Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, meaning that fundraising is a critical component of ISTAR’s annual activities. Reasons to give include immediate impact, supporting important work and providing a helping hand.
